Eight teams enter, but only one will reign supreme. Minecraft VS is a new competitive game show coming to GAMEBREAKER.TV.
Each week two teams (3v3) will battle in the ultimate Minecraft build off. The winners will move on to the next round until one team is the crowned champion.
Teams consist of 3 players each so gather your mates wisely. Pick a team leader and sign up for season one here.
We know you’re excited about BlizzCon kicking off on Friday but we’re even more excited about Thursday night’s BlizzCon 2011 WoWhead and WoW Insider party at the Anabella Hotel patio where Gamebreaker.tv will be livecasting the whole thing.
As you know our own Gary Gannon, MikeB and Josh Allen (aka Lore) will be there, along with WoW Insider’s Mike Sacco and Anne Stickney to stream the show for those of us not lucky enough to attend. For those of you who do make it, be sure to drop in and say “Hi” as other Gamebreaker hosts and community members will be in attendance.
As we said in an earlier post, we would give you more details when we have them. Well, here they are.
Guests
According to current information Felicia Day and other cast members of The Guild will be there as will members of TankSpot and WoW Interface. There are other special guests including Amy Brady of Frag Dolls fame, Learn2raid’s Kinesthesia, actress Michele Marrow and Oxhorn with his truly epic beard.
Several of these guests will be spending some time chatting into a microphone with Mat McCurley and Fox Van Allen. Gamebreaker.tv will be there to catch it for you. The people attending will have a chance to meet some of these guests in person.
Giveaways
There are also some really cool prizes to be given away.
- Cryptozoic will be there and will bring 1,500 booster packs for the WoW TCG.
- Enjin, the guild hosting site will be giving away 1,500 vouchers for two months of premium service.
- Wizards of the Coast are donating three full sets of Magic: The Gathering foil M12 cards in limited edition boxes as well as sweet D&D loot.
- Steelseries, AstroGaming, Cooler Master Storm and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab will give out other prizes.
Drinks
For those of you who have been inquiring about drinking age issue, Monster Energy is giving away cans of Monster Energy and Peach Tea during the party. You can just ask the bartenders at the party about it. If age isn’t an issue (you’re 21 or over) there will be Alliance and Horde-themed cocktails.
ID’s will be checked at the door and you will be given appropriate wristbands. If you don’t have a valid ID, you will still be allowed in, but not allowed to drink.

BlizzCon 2011 is right around the corner and is shaping up to be even more Legendary this year!
We’re teaming up with our friends at WoW Insider and Wowhead to host the ultimate party Thursday night at the Anabella hotel. Along with Wowhead and WoW Insider crews, you can expect other ZAM Network familiar faces such as TankSpot and WoW Interface members to show up as well.
And hey, if you can’t make it, don’t worry! We’re not leaving you out in the cold. You’ll be able to watch the entire party from your computer– Gamebreaker.tv setting up to broadcast the whole shindig. Mike Sacco and Anne Stickney will be joining your GBTV Legendary hosts Gary Gannon, Mike B, and Josh Allen. On Friday, August 26th Gamebreaker TV is joining forces with Darth Hater, Curse, Mos Eisley Radio, TOROcast, Corellian Run Radio, TORWars, Ask A Jedi and others to throw a SW:TOR community party at the Blarney Stone Pub located at 1909 3rd Ave in Downtown Seattle.
Starting at 7PM, the Pub will become a community cantina where everyone attending PAX Prime can hang out and compare con notes.
If you’re going to be at PAX, tell us in the comments below and come hang out with people from the SW:TOR fan sites and guilds.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT RATED BG COMMENTATOR/PRODUCER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
GAMEBREAKER.TV is looking for a Rated BG expert/video producer to host a new show. You must have extensive knowledge of all World of Warcraft classes and tactics used in RBG’s & Rated Arena. You must possess a sports center/commentator style voice with quick, witty, and humorous delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
The host/producer will be provided with offensive and defensive video of RBG’s and will then record voice over commentary to said video. Editing of video with use of overlays to explain and point out the tactics being used on screen. You may or may not be on camera for said show but you MUST be willing to be an on camera personality regardless. Having a character with previous Gladiator experience and/or highly rated in RBGs is recommended.
Host/Producer must be able to adhere to a weekly schedule producing at least 1-2 videos per week.

GAMEBREAKER.TV ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW “THE SANCTUM”
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – January 5, 2011 – GameBreaker.TV, the leading video game internet television network, announced the addition of a new series to their current lineup. “The Sanctum”, a new round table format show based on the upcoming MMORPG RIFT from Trion Worlds, will debut January 9, 2011.
The show will air live every Sunday at 3pst on the GameBreaker.TV network and will be made available for download through various distribution channels such as Blip.TV, iTunes, and more.
The host lineup will consist of three veteran MMO players and commentators. Gary Gannon, host and President of GameBreaker.TV, Josh Allen, host of Legendary, The Weekly Marmot, and PST, and Jasmine Hruschak, host of This Week In MMO.
“We feel RIFT is a very strong contender in the AAA MMORPG market and has great potential.
