We were all noobs once, so share your defining noob moments with the Gamebreaker community!
One of the things I love about games is learning. I have learned so much over my years of playing WoW, for example, I probably wouldn’t level another paladin as holy. That was a stupid idea, although at the time I seemed to die so much sooner than the mobs I was hitting that having some heals seemed like a good plan. It didn’t occur to me for some time that killing them faster would be an equally appropriate response to the issue! I elaborate on many more of my WoW noob moments in the video, as I’ve been playing it for so long there are quite a few!
But how about other games? I still laugh at myself remembering how, when I first played Portal, and you start off in the tutorial room which I think I’m right in saying is mirrored. I saw myself through a portal and thought I was a bad guy. Ah how I laughed… And, of course, you might be aware that I’m just learning to play League of Legends. I’m still far too nooby at League to know exactly what I’m doing that is, itself, a noob moment, so I’m asking very politely for you to definitely, definitely tell me if your noob moments relate to League of Legends! Help me to avoid falling into the same traps that you did, so that I can be less of a noob at LoL.
One thing I’m doing in LoL that is definitely nooby is getting the WoW battleground-esque red mist descending, and chasing low health enemy players far too far into their territory, and then getting owned by their towers just a little before I realize I’ve over-extended. That’s got to be pretty nooby, right?
So I’ve shared a lot of my noob moments in the video, and now it’s your turn! Tell me all about your rookie errors, your starting mistakes, your beginners’ luck! Don’t be ashamed, we were all noobs once.
