I love all the pseudo-intelectual bullshit talk that female game characters are objectified and sexist yet you go to a convention and all the female cosplayers are in the skankiest most minimal customs available.

Really? I see maybe three – four girls in this set wearing outfits that reveal skin. And all of the skin seen is perfectly acceptable and family friendly… If you’re that uptight about it, I do suggest you don’t go to a beach any time soon.

I was referring to cosplaying in general and I can link you to several pictures most of them posted on this site.
Also you completely missed the mark. My comment is towards the hypocrisy of all the uptight people and politically correct advocates. I love me some skankly clad chainmail bikini females.

Well.. I don’t think it’s really hypocrisy if the ones being uptight aren’t the same ones dressing up. FYI.. I’ve never met an uptight cosplayer. Snooty… Maybe.. uptight. Never.
And I apologize – to a point. I do highly object to the use of “skankiest” as I do not feel that the cosplayers we try to feature are ones who are just going “Screw it.. I’ll throw on the minimal amount of clothes and see what happens.” These are talented costume makers, models, etc.
Yes… Some of the clothing is revealing. On the reverse side, some of the clothing covers more than the t-shirt and jeans I’m wearing right now. But the outfits are determined by the characters they’re portraying. You’re not going to see Faye Valentine in a full length skirt any time soon.

You guys didn’t get a shot of the girl at the defiance booth!?!? Not only was her suit amazing she was in full blown character as well!
