IN OTHER NEWS:
- A surprising post comes into play during MLG Anaheim, with technical designer Riot Brackhar making a post on the League of Legends official forums regarding the introduction of a new map mode incoming in the next patch! Giving hope to all ARAM players! A new Xerath skin splash-art seems to have leaked from the PBE!
- League of Legends is getting more popular, while that’s not rocket science, it should be noted that its gotten to a point where we’re seeing television ads in Thailand.
- KSG_RiftTalk creates a Reddit Post describing a new show that will debut tomorrow with fellow co-hosts FYA Umashi and Izitserious that will focus on theory-crafting, player preference and accepting ideas. Be sure to check it out!
- Leading up to MLG Anaheim has been a rocky road for most of the players, with last minute lineup changes and substitutions taking place. Team Sypher, one of the European teams that were invited are unable to attend, leaving a gap in the tournament bracket for 19 others to take a shot at the $40,000 prize pool!
- Curse Gaming will be having a great addition to their team with Jon ‘Westrice’ Nguyen, the former top laner for Team SoloMid.EVO who will be replacing Eugene ‘Pobelter’ Park after MLG Anaheim. Counter Logic Gaming Prime also had to make a quick substitution with Joe ‘Voyboy’ Esfahani not being able to participate due to school obligations, fellow North American player xHazzard who’s currently ranked 51st on the North American ladders will be substituting. On top of that we will get to see FnaticRC’s new lineup with former aAa top laner Paul ‘sOAZ’ Boyer taking over Maciej ‘Shushei’ Ratuszniak’s role.
- A quick shout out to Riot Jatt, who will be shoutcasting for some matches over at MLG Anaheim, as it’s his birthday. Happy birthday from GAMEBREAKER!
