Riot's Free Champion Rotation for League of Legends (10/16 - 10/23)

Summoners!

Week 47 of Riot’s free champion rotation has come, and with it some interesting choices in early game lane aggression.  Let’s see what we’ve got!

If you haven’t had a chance to try out the League’s newest pokemon, now’s your chance!  Kha’Zix is free to play this week, and like all new champion releases sure enough his kit is just plain stupid good and ridiculously fun.  Check out more on the Void Reaver over here.

Oh Volibear…how I love you so.  I know I’ve spoken about how amazing and underplayed this champion is, but can you blame me?  He’s a BEAR in ARMOR that shoots LIGHTNING!  What’s not to love about him?  With the flipping capacity of Singed and the true damage of Olaf, this beast of a beast is extremely fun in any lane.  Yes, there are other champions that can individually do what he can does better, but who cares!  Volibear is never seen in games anymore so players don’t know how to respond to him anyway.

Screw the meta.

Speaking of the meta, if you haven’t yet played poke master Ezreal you might want to do so sooner rather than later.  This Prodigal Explorer is due for a big hit with the nerf bat very shortly, but for now is still one of the most powerful carries.  Using Ez will also force you to be better at timing and position, as all of his abilities are skillshots.  Arcane shift and a flash summoner  make him the most mobile ranged AD champion, and Mystic Shot, Essence Flux, and his ult allow for a ton of damage in a short amount of time.

Honestly, he needs a nerf.  But not this week!

Either way, I’ll be on my favorite aggressive kill lane support – Leona.  Shinning armor, long beautiful hair, stun for days…I think I’m in love.

Who says supports shouldn’t get kills?
