Riot's Free Champion Rotation for League of Legends (9/18-9/25)

Good day  Summoners!

Week 43 of Riot’s free rotation is showing off some pretty nifty champion utility.

How many times have you gotten into a game with one role in mind only to have it insta-locked by someone else?

No problem!  Many of the champions below work exceptionally well in a support capacity as well as their main role!

First up, the wonderful Ms. Morgana.  Honestly, if she’s not banned and your team doesn’t let you take this lovely lady mid then there’s something seriously wrong.  With that said, this AP power house has some of the best tools for an aggressive team support. A skill shot stun and AoE slow make her amazing at setting up plays.  And Black Shield?  Kiss any problems your carry/initiator had with an enemy AP goodbye.

Sticking with the aggressive support theme, let’s talk about Blitzcrank.

You know what I like about Blitzcrank?  He’s a support that plays nothing like a support.  Truth is, this big robot is straight up OP.  One successful grab/knock up combo almost always guarantees a kill.  Also, let’s give him an AoE silence that deals insane damage with an equally insanely short cooldown.  You know what else?  Let’s give him an ability that makes his movement speed shoot up to around 500, and a passive that shields him when he’s close to death.

And yet, when I think of a support hybrid there’s only one man who stands out in my eyes: Zilean.

Oh Zilean…strap on some full AP runes and watch that early bottom lane cry with each bomb explosion.  Insane poke is reason enough to like him.  An extremely reliable slow, movement speed buff, and spammable spells is reason to love him.  Let’s not forget he’s also a walking Guardian Angel capable of instantly preventing death to anyone with a well timed ultimate.

I LOVE Zilean.

Or…ah screw it.  Just go lock in Jax and carry.  Hard.
