Summoners, prepare to do battle! Gamebreaker will be hosting a League of Legends community cast with giveaway’s this Friday, February 8th at 5pm PST. This community event will be hosted by none other than our very own Shaun ‘FourCourtJester’ Delaney, and will give Gamebreaker’s League of Legends fans an opportunity to compete against each other for glory and prizes.

There will be three community games which will take place on the NA server, and the password for games will be given out live on the stream as the games are made. The first 10 people in will get to play in some 5v5 action on Summoner’s Rift.

This event will be livestreamed on our Live Page for everyone to watch, and at the end of each game the viewers will be able to vote for an MVP of the game. The MVP of each game will receive bragging rights within the Gamebreaker Nation, as well as a $10 RP card!

All the fun begins this Friday at 5pm PST, shortly after TWIMMO, so tune in for your chance to compete for an RP card and to watch fellow members of the Gamebreaker Nation play some League of Legends. It should be a great time. We’ll see ya there!

  I am sorry that this is an issue, however, we do not design the servers that Riot use nor did we make the choice for the EU and NA servers to have entirely separate accounts. This is not really an issue that we can solve. If this does show to be a successful event and the community shows their support for such events, it could be possible in the future to host events for both sides of the pond. I have no insider information on that idea, it is simply just the idea that if it was possible in the future it can always be looked at.

I’m in the same boat with everyone else who thinks 5pm PST is a horrible time on a Friday. Most people will still be at work or on their way home. 5pm is great if your only interested in a high-school clientele. 8pm PST is probably a way better time to host this so you can actually get more of the community involved.

  We understand that 5 PM PST is typically a time slot that is just ending the regular work day for the west coast, but we wanted to make sure it was not too late for the east coast and not a crazy time for those across the way over in the EU.
  
  Due to these complications and the fact that it is a Friday night and that some GAMEBREAKER staff do visit the outside (frankly I think they are nuts), this allotted time gave the best possibility.

Isn’t this when the 2nd round of LCS matches are? I definitely think this is an awesome idea but I’ll probably be watching the pro’s. I hope you guys do this more but Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun I think most of the LoL crowd will be watching the LCS for NA and EU. Maybe sometime early in the week?
