Riot is tweaking a number of our favorite champions to bring better game balance in the latest League of Legends patch.
If you love the unparalleled global utility of Karthus, Shen, and Soraka, this patch may not be for you.
The terrible three are having the cooldown on their respective ults increased. Simply put, they were too powerful and did not allow opposing teams a chance at a comeback if shut down early. The hope is that this change will allow players at least a little breathing room to respond with a counter attack instead of being defeated by someone who’s not even on their radar.
I would mention that Gangplank and Pantheon (among others) have similar ults…but I digress.
Not long ago, Nunu lived in the jungle. Well, Nunu is getting buffed in order to offer a counter-jungling presence once again. The decreased cooldown on his Consume and shorter Visionary stacks may just bring this yeti rider back to the trees.
Finally, both LeBlanc and Orianna are getting some much needed love.
Once an automatic ban, LeBlanc has fallen out of favor for other AP assassins. This patch will see needed improvements to her abilities: increasing the speed on Sigil of Silence, lowering the cooldown on Distortion, and allowing LeBlanc to blink around the map with blatant disregard.
Orianna is getting cooldown reductions across the board to better chain her abilities. Command: Attack is taking a slight hit in damage, but Command: Dissonance will now benefit from increased AP ratios. Command: Protect will see an increase in range, and lastly, Clockwork Windup will now rely on less stacks to be effective.
Oh, and Jayce.
