It’s always exciting when a new champion is coming in League of Legends, and today Senior Concept Artist IronStylus unveiled a new piece of concept art on the forums which shows off the newest champion in League of Legends, Quinn, as well as her companion Valor.
Quinn is slated to be an AD Carry, and that fact seems pretty obvious when looking at the concept art. She’s packing around what looks to be an automatic crossbow complete with an auto-load dart clip. Her bird of prey companion is named Valor, and based on some subtle teasers from Riot, may be Teemo’s worst enemy. There hasn’t been any clarification on Quinn’s abilities yet, but summoners are speculating that Valor may have some sort of reveal mechanic. Or maybe he just eats yordles. Either way the concept art is absolutely stunning, and I’m excited to see Quinn in the League of Legends.
When all the lore from the concept art releases comes together, this is one of the most lore-filled teasers we’ve ever gotten for a new League of Legends champion, and Quinn’s back-story has also been one of the more interesting lore stories out there. We were told that the lore team were working on new things for the future, and hopefully this is only a taste of some of the things they have planned.
There is plenty more information about Quinn still to come, and we’ll keep you updated on everything that is released by Riot. My guess is that we will start hearing about some champion abilities for Quinn next, but there might be more to her lore, and I for one wouldn’t be sad about it.
Late last week League of Legends began teasing Quinn with some journal entries, and there have been a few more added since then, which you can see below.
