Teasers continue to come, and the story of Z.A.C., or the Zaun Amorphous Combatant, continues to grow. Riot has released two more teaser images for the newest League of Legends champion, and not only does ZAC apparently have a sweet tooth, but he has also seemingly grown quite fond of the scientists who are in charge of his project. So our little experiment continues to grow, and has quite a fondness for candy and the scientists that care for him. Judging by the written portions of the experimental journals it seems that the scientist have also grown quite fond of ZAC, and we could be looking at the making of a League of Legends story full of sadness and tragedy. Someone in the Zaun hierarchy seems to want to remove the two scientists that ZAC seems to essentially view as parents, which could open several story arcs that lead ZAC to the League of Legends, whether it be to hide from the Zaun system, or to rescue the scientists he cares for. No matter which way the story goes from here, it’s one of the most interesting lore pieces that has been told in LoL in quite some time, and I’m quite anxious to see where this is all headed.
There is definitely more to come, as the story of ZAC has obviously just begun. I have to say I’m a big fan of the new League of Legends lore reveals. Riot wasn’t joking when they said the lore team was working on some exciting things. We should have a continuation of ZAC’s story in the next day or two, and we will definitely keep you posted as things continue to be released.
