League Of Legends is back!
After a short hiatus, The League is set to make its Major League Gaming comeback.
It was announced to day that MLG will bring back League Of Legends to its live events at the Fall and Summer Championships.
The biggest eSport in world is coming to the biggest North American eSports league.
The recipe for success.
But what does this mean for the other titles that MLG play host to?
Halo has had bad luck over the past season with them dropping to second place to StarCraft 2 and now it seems with League Of Legends coming to MLG we are one season away from StarCraft 2 dropping to second place.
As much as it pains me to say, League Of Legends is a bigger eSport than StarCraft 2 and will really flourish under the banner of MLG.
Time will tell if it takes the mantel of the MLG prime game away from SC2, but history books of IPL4 and Dreamhack show us that LoL is hands down going to be better.
The League had a rocky start on its previous MLG outing and didn’t hit off as big as expected.
It had massive streaming errors and was forced offline, but with this latest surge in North American viewers from IPL4 and a great performance you can be sure its only going to shoot towards the sky.
