Today marks the start of the Season 2 World Championship!
12 teams from around the globe will be competing for a $2,000,000 dollar prize pool, as well as the title of best League of Legends players in the world.

The playoffs are broken down into two groups played this entire weekend, with the second and third place teams from Regionals battling it out in hopes of advancing to the next day of competition.
There, they will be joined by the 4 Regional champions – Moscow 5, Taipei Assassins, Team SoloMid, and World Elite. Riot has already done an amazing job spotlighting the competing regions, and I highly recommend checking out their write ups on the teams from North America, Europe, Korea, and China.
The tournament kicks off this morning at 9am PST and will continue all day until the final match at 8pm. All matches are being live streamed on the main league website and will also be available for VOD. And in case you can’t get in front of a screen for your favorite matches, you’ll be happy to hear you can catch all the updates via your mobile smartphone.
Personally, I love TSM but would love to see a shakeup in League. I’m cheering for Dignitas all the way. I believe in you IWillDominate!
