The smoke has cleared from the Fields of Justice this past weekend. The battles have been fought, the cheers have been screamed, and your 2012 MLG Spring Champions have been crowned. 20 teams entered, but in the end it was Team SoloMid that stood victorious – showing the world why they are the #1 ranked team after a grueling 6 game win over arch rivals Counter Logic Gaming Prime.
Never once falling into the loser bracket, TSM plowed through to the finals undefeated with little to no struggle. Having secured their spot, they patiently waited as CLG clawed their way back up the tournament to challenge them once again, seeking revenge from their defeat at the hands of TSM at IPL4.
In an unbelievably epic 5 hour battle for supremacy, TSM was finally able to claim victory over a team that simply refused to go down, fighting tooth and nail every step of the way. My fellow Summoners, words cannot adequately do justice; if you have not yet seen this fight, I implore you to witness these matches with your own eyes.
