Judgement day is on the horizon: the Brood War pros are coming!
After a shake up in the BW scene in Korea, with the leagues moving towards StarCraft 2 matches as BW is set to be phased out.
Yesterday it was revealed that KT Rolster have held a “boot camp” to learn StarCraft 2.
KT Rolster hosts some of the biggest BW names including one very important individual:
Flash.
The most dominant RTS player of all time is set to move towards StarCraft 2 and everyone is quaking in their boots.
So what does this mean for the world of StarCraft 2?
Everyone has the opinion that it is like a storm on the horizon where BW pros will take down the world with hardly any challenge.
Maybe this is true for players like Jaedong and Flash.
But I dont see this happening for the top end competition, my reasoning is oGs.Fin.
He had so much hype following him from his BW days as FOrGG, winning an MSL and was a very capable BW player. He did storm onto the scene blasting through players like Polt in Code A, but in his two shots at Code S, he hasn’t blown the competition out of the water as previously expected.
One BW player is not enough to make a general overall opinion about their upcoming performance, but I do think it will be quite the roller coaster.
All I can say is they are coming and we need to hold onto our hats.
