im waiting so badly for this game…,

but i cant be the only one looking at the trailer and imagining this is how Just cause 4 or 5 gonna be i mean… remove the jet pack and add a parachute.

Half a minute in I thought this cinematic has to by Blur Studios (same guys who did those amazing SWTOR vids). Their game cinematics are always great. It’s cool Sony got them to make this one.

Planetside 2 will be without a doubt the worlds LARGEST first person shooter within a year of launch people, with more people in game and on its servers than COD or MW combined…every day of the week 24/7 …
To any pro gaming clans out there think they are the shit…i would say bring your game on against 1000s of other players not 32 a map and see how good you really are when its a WAR not a skirmish…
where you have to think beyond the tactics of a square mile.
understand how to flank the enemy on a cont level
where a BASE counts as it brings a tactical advantage
where the war never ends,
where today’s win = tomorrows loss of the same base
where every inch of ground you give up to the enemy costs you points to spawn amour or air.
This is more than a first person shooter its a god damn WARRRRRR!
Planetside 2 will be the closest any of you have come to going to war in your lives unless you served in the armed forces! …or played PS1

i will say it again CGI trailers can go DIAF. i mean if you have to use the disclaimer “Not Actual Gameplay” then that should be a big red flag not to go that route. because we all know gamers are going to think that if i cannot do everything i see in this video, regardless of disclaimer, and if the game does not look the way it does in the video then i am going to be pissed!

as gamers we really should stop condoning false advertisement from devs. show us in-game footage and spend the millions you would have used on the CGI for the actual game!
