Undead Labs has been hard at work creating a sandbox zombie game originally titled Class3, but today they announced the new title State of Decay and with it, a new trailer.

To me it looks like a less polished. more serious, open world Dead Rising. Ive been waiting for a game like this for awhile so hopefully it doesnt fail!

  Maybe it was the demo I played but Dead Rising didn’t seem that polished to me…
  
  Anyway State of Decay is an XBLA game so it will be $20 at most. Now compare that to a full priced retail game at $60. Downgrade your expectations accordingly.

It might be fun, if they go for survival horror, rather than just a zombie shooter.

It will not only be a XBLA game it will also be computer as they have stated also can be found on massively.joystiq and on their website and no this has no relevance to DAYZ this game was out way before DAYZ was planned….. and hooray for Zombie Labs and congrats on your game trailer.

Now we must wait for Class 4 since class3 was State of decay….

Kinda disappointed that the characters/zombies model are not very realistic , feels like the game is more toward Dead Rising rather than Walking Dead./ Dayz style, another zombie hack and slash game.

The company Undead Labs was founded by Jeff Strain, one of the three founders of Arenanet. You better believe this game will be bad ass.
