Creative Assembly dropped a new in-engine trailer for the upcoming Total War: ROME II. Aside from the impressive visuals and the statue crushing infantry mixed with the usual large scale battles, this is a Total War trailer fans of the series should not miss.

They could have done “Rome I HD” and I would have brought it. Total War core gameplay is that fun for me. Increase on battle scale, animations, AI and who knows what else they are trying just mean Creative Assembly will have my money for a long time. I wonder if they will make the online games actually work this time. Shogun 2 online components were such a bugfest for me that my 387h online on that game was just offline campaign.

Is this suppose to be Punic Wars? If so, the history dept needs a new book on uniforms of the early republic. The sacking of Carthage was pre-Marius reforms.
