New Defiance co-op mode

Trion released a new trailer today showcasing the new Defiance co-op mode! For those who don’t yet know what it is, Defiance is described as the first multi-platform shooter MMO which will also be linked to a television series on the SyFy channel. Players will face spontaneous Arkfall events and legions of hostile aliens and other creatures in a huge, constantly evolving open world set in the San Francisco Bay Area. The game combines the intense action of a console third-person shooter, with the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO. Its TV counterpart exudes the scope, story, and drama of a classic sci-fi epic. Defiance will be playable on Xbox360 PlayStation3 and PC.

Prepare for Defiance co-op to go jekkin massive!

The new trailer shows off some ultra-modern alien-tech weaponry, huge battles and some pretty sweet rides. Awesome bosses including a big steroid chugging testosterone-ridden loud-mouth, a rolly-polly slimy alien hedgehog that spits… poison maybe, and some sort of gargantuan bipedal mech, complete the picture.. Thank goodness you won’t have to take them on alone eh?

Yea promising. But i hope they fix the peformance problems, like they have in rift. cuz it looks like the same engine to me. anyone got some infos on that?

  Doesn’t look the same to me, anyways it’s not the same engine they’re using an engine called Havok’s don’t know much about it though.

There are a couple of beta codes at the end of this video if you pause it, not sure how many uses they are but I’m pretty positive that is what they are.
