Ronimo Games‘ 2-D MOBA Awesomenauts made a big splash when it hit XBox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network in May, but it will be even more awesome when it makes its PC debut on Steam this Wednesday, Aug. 1.
For those not in the know, Awesomenauts has pretty much everything you’d expect in a MOBA, utilizing platforming to add a dimension of height to its side-scrolling gameplay. With eight characters, drop-in match functionality, and an irreverent style — characters range from psyonic valley-girl surfer to a frog gangster — it’s fun for the whole (twisted) family!
Awesomenauts sells for $9.99 on consoles, and while there’s no official word, we’d assume it will be the same on Steam. If you’re looking for something very different in the MOBA genre, check it out when it goes on sale this Wednesday!
