Modders Update Morrowind For Skyrim

Have you been experiencing an ache that only The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind could cure? Well you are in luck as Skywind, a modding team, has been hard at work building all of Morrowind in Bethesda’s Creation Engine as a mod for Skyrim.

Check out the images /videos and if you are willing to lend a hand to speed up the building process, Skywind is looking for volunteers!

No but seriously, this looks amazing, and seeing as Morrowind is my favourite rpg of all time, i will deffinatly pick this up when it’s available. I just hope it manages to capture the same sense of exploration that Morrowind had, and not use the gps system of Oblivion/Skyrim.

I still remember having to actually think about where something was, like say a dungeon, instead of having it pointed out on my map/gps, i’d get directions, like “North-east of Seyda Neen” or something like that, i loved that.

Ahh, good times. Even though I’ve played Oblivion and Skyrim longer, and probably wouldn’t go back to revisit it, Morrowind still holds s special place in my heart. Kind of like Baldur’s Gate 1.

Loved Marrowind so much.
It gave me the experience of exploration and escape whilst I was taking Care of My Mom,was unable to leave My Folx’s house for almost 5 months.

It was My 1st real exposure to a sandbox-type of environment.

There was a beautiful little fishing Hut where I would go to get away from it all, I decorated it with items I’d collected from all over.
