Every day, I’m poking around on the internet looking for cool indie games. And every Friday I pick out one of those games to highlight — and maybe give you something to do over the weekend.
This week I’ve picked out a very strange game called To Secure, Contain, and Protect: SCP.
SCP is a Dwarf Fortress mod based around a a group-created SCP wiki. The wiki contains entries about various creatures that are “contained” by the SCP.
Each creature has an SCP ID number and their own cozy containment area. Which is good, because at least one of them is a quick bugger who’s ready to eat someone when the lights go out — or if everyone turns their backs to it. A word of advice.
Don’t blink.
So, what do you do if you’re one of the people working for this group and important things like the doors to creatures containment rooms and lights start to go on the fritz?
Well… with this game, you get to find out.
If you’re interested in scaring yourself pants-less, you can download SCP for free. You will need to have a copy of Dwarf Fortress on your computer as well.
