In a latest kickstarter update for Shadowrun Online, Cliffhanger Productions co-founder Michael Paeck showed off the combat in a video, and also announced support for Ouya and Linux.
The one catch: the possibility of Linux not being supported on day one. The team behind Shadowrun Online is still waiting for the update of Unity 3D 4.0. Once they have access to the new Unity, then gamers can see a port of the game later in the year.
The other catch to this is the kickstarter program has yet to reach its goal of 500,000. With eleven days left, chances are still high to see this amazing top down strategy action RPG MMO hit tablets, smart phones, and computers everywhere.
Having the option to switch from your tablet to your computer on the fly and continue to dive deep into a world “where man meets magic and machine” has my curiosity peaked, but will others add their support to see this game hit computers, or is magic in MMOs done for?
