Mojang‘s most recent project, Scrolls is now in the alpha stage and the company has begun sending invites to testers.
The company has stated they are starting by sending out a “modest number of codes” to people selected from the list of those who have already signed up. According to the post, the team will not be adding more people to this list at the moment, so if you haven’t already signed up you will have to wait until open beta to try out the game.
For those who are on the list, Jakob Porser has written a post detailing what kinds of things players can expect to see in this build.
The alpha stage will have both single and multi-player and allow players to use either prebuilt decks or make their own. It will feature a full set of scrolls with 3 of each scroll available in the game. Players are required to have a deck of 40 or more scrolls.
If you’ve signed up previously, start checking your email. You may have a code. If you haven’t, go sign up and be ready for open beta.
