Mojam – Mojang’s annual game jam starts today and the games are to be inspired by public votes.
**UPDATE** Mojam has officially kicked off and there is indeed a Humble Bundle to go along with it. Pop over to the Humble Bundle site to check it out and watch the livestream.

Mojang’s annual game jam — which was announced yesterday — kicks off today at 6:00PM CET (Noon EST/9:00AM PST). Mojang will be splitting into two teams that will have until midnight CET on Saturday to complete their individual games.
According to the official announcement six other developers will be joining in on Mojang’s annual game jam and developing games that will be included in the final Mojam bundle. The participating developers include:
The game jam is set to be streamed — although currently they have not stated where, assumptions are via Mojang’s Twitch channel — and viewers will be encouraged to donate to two charities: the EFF and Block by Block. Viewers who donate will get to play the final games as well as any builds released during the game jam. Anyone who donates above the average will be entered into exclusive raffles, as well.
For those of you who may not know, Wolfire Games is the company responsible for the Humble Bundle so while it has not been officially stated, it seems very likely that they will be helping to handle the donation process again this year.
As of this writing, you can also help inspire the games to be created by picking out two ideas from a rather long list on the Mojam announcement page. But you had better hurry, as they will be choosing two ideas for each game to start the game jam.
So, if you’re a fan of indie games, bundles and charity, check in on Mojang’s annual game jam via their website and — most likely — their twitch stream. Donate a bit and get to play the games you watch them make over the next few days.
