A while back, we told you about a Kickstarter project from a studio of ex-Bioware developers called The Banner Saga.   The Kickstarter was very successful and the team raised a total of $723,886 which will allow them to have a full orchestra and create extra features like player-built cities.

Now Stoic has issued a Beta update for the game.  The update video shows off some beautifully drawn landscapes, a little bit of combat and some of the music.

The video also contains a panel with the team as well as showing off some of the creation process.

Highlights of the video include:  cutscene work at 3:20, an animated background at 5:05 and combat at 6:56.
