Some time back, Mike Schaffnit and I did a story on a procedurally generated indie surivival game titled Sir, You Are Being Hunted.

This is a game where the ultimate future nightmare of being hunted down by our own creations comes to life. You find yourself in an idyllic English landscape being followed by robots wearing tweed jackets and smoking pipes while their mechanical dogs chase you down so they can shoot you.

And, possibly do other things like mount your head on their wall…

As it turns out, Big Robot has released the alpha trailer for the game and — well… let’s just say it’s a little different from most video game trailers. You’re not going to find any modern sounds or visuals in this. In fact, it has a slightly Hitchcock-ian feel to it.

For those of you who are interested in acquiring this game, it won’t be out until sometime next year. However, according to a comment by Big Robot dev Jim Rossignol, you should be able to preorder it in a few weeks.
