Earlier today, a video for an AndroidOS game made its way into my email.
Skyfall, a very nice looking RPG from a company named ngmoco:) – yes, that is a smiley face — seems to blend a couple of elements into one game, the premise of which is that the player lives in a world held together by pillars with great power.
The power of the pillars begin to fade and as a result the “sky falls”. This is in a semi-literal sense as things do fall out of the sky.
A player is given the choice of three classes: mage, warrior and rogue which he can easily customize with items they pick up throughout the world – ARPG style.
Game combat has a turn-based look but allows for multi-player co-op. Players may enter a lobby in the game that will allow them to find other players to assist killing whatever it is that needs to be killed.
All-in-all, it’s a very good looking game and I’m hoping it will make its way to iOS in the future — mostly because the only Android device I own is the original Nook.
For those of you wanting to try it out, the game is currently in beta available to play for free.
