Level 90 DK Solos Madness of Deathwing 10-man Normal!
GAMEBREAKER posted last week about level 80 Death Knight Aelobin soloing Heroic Baleroc 25-man, a level 85 boss, and it was so impressive that a lot of our readers didn’t believe it was true. We do actually check out our news sources before posting, and it was a genuine kill, backed up by Aelobin’s armory data. This also reveals how he managed to become unhittable, and the changes to Vengeance explain his insane attack power!
And another DK has appeared, using these Vengeance changes to great effect. Mionelol, as a level 90 death knight, isn’t able to render herself unhittable, like Aelobin did. However, Mionelol uses DK mechanics to impressive effect, taking Deathwing down even through the enrage, just as Aelobin did with Baleroc. It’s remarkable indeed that, just five levels and a vengeance change later, characters can solo the last boss of the prior expansion, even if it’s only on 10-man normal difficulty.
Mionelol is Mionee of Auchindon EU’s Envy, one of the guilds pushing into the EU’s world first race in the recent raiding tier, so hardly an inexperienced or undergeared player, but this is very impressive indeed.
Mionelol goes even further toward proving Death Knights are insanely OP the soloing class of the moment by soloing challenge modes, not in medal time, but soling them nonetheless. Several DK soloing videos are cropping up in challenge mode dungeons, the hardest current content available for 5-mans. How long will it be before Death Knights are soling current raids?
Do Death Knights need a nerf? Does Vengeance need a nerf? Is Mionee just incredibly skilled?
