Funcom's Age of Conan Reveals Secrets of Dragon Spine Content
8 Comments

Funcom’s Age of Conan: Unchained has revealed new content that will be released over time. The first part will introduce the Dragon’s Spine, a remote desert that will give level eighty characters new dungeons, monsters, quests and juicy rewards for players to sink their teeth in.

With the ‘Secrets of Dragon’s Spine’ update we are moving into an incredibly exciting part of Robert E. Howard’s work, and I think both ‘Age of Conan’ players and fans of Howard’s work alike will find a lot to enjoy once they get to explore this new content.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg, as additional dungeons will be added, along with new PvP area for players to test metal against metal, a new raid, and a new mount found amidst the sands for players to achieve.

The problem with all of this is the wait!

Leave a comment if the idea of spilling blood in AoC appeals and excites, or has that ship moved on?

Wow this game is still running?

I’m also a little bit surprised, because for example when they talk about AoC in articles or podcasts, they always refer to it with: “You remember how it WAS in AoC?”.

AoC is atleast more alive than Warhammer is lol

About time funcom realised this is the game that is making their money.. We’ve been waiting for content forever, a new battleground sounds good but most of the PvP people have left allready. PvE is the only thing that makes this game remotely interesting atm.

I still enjoy AoC. I enjoy  being a part of the Conan universe. I think the game does a great job capturing the essence of Howard’s stories. I like the low fantasy setting displayed with cutting edge DX10 graphics and lighting. The top quality art design and music are much appreciated by me. In many ways the game is unique in what it has to offer the mmo genre. All the combat, blood, fatalities, and brutality contrasts well with the beauty of game’s environments and architecture. I hope it sticks around for a while, I would really miss AoC if Funcom shuttered it.
