I miss playing Rift. Rift is awesome. Prolly the Second best MMO out there currently to date.

They just need to cut back on the mob numbers and or their respwan rate and it’ll be a hella lot more enjoyable.

    Rift is hardly dead…..dont get your hopes too high. If you enjoy WOWs end game you might find GW2 lacking in the “typical” sense

    As someone has said commented, GW2 took out things that WoW lovers love. Why? Because WoW lovers love WoW, you can’t take them away from that game. GW2 is very different from WoW in a lot of ways. I really like the changes they did.

      Marc Rift is dead, Its one of the those MMOs that even though it still has people playing it isn’t considered competition anymore, SWTOR may be falling apart but its still more competitive than Rift and people call that dead.
      
      Like Storm said above, just cause a game releases more content doesn’t make the game is any better (That goes with any game).
      
      Since Rift came out its always been small and losing people. Never had any Subs numbers that I see it has desperation to keep people playing as when people see numbers or decline in a game they wont try it.
      
      Here you go Marc, This chart is pretty much dead on the amount of people playing MMOs sub based or not, it may not be official, but its dam close.

    So you’re saying you follow the crowd, rather than form your own opinion. Rift has released more content in the past year than WoW has. They put out fairly large updates every two or three months. The last WoW update was in Nov 2011. 10 million players =/= “better”

1st pic will be another boss zone like Colossus??? Might be if you’re looking at the 2nd mob on the picture 2nd pic looks like the guy is coming from deep water. 3rd one can definitely be a boss in the Air 20 man Raid. 4th one, looks like there is a throne in it. Regulos throne room??? Pretty nice art anyway. Looking forward for more.

rift is still probs the best mmo out there now. and growing. lots of ppl i know are going back to rift,m and so might i. If gw2 sucks im def back to rift.

I just hope they fix the tiny, cramped world and absurdly slow movement speed. Oh, and some interesting questing – all the quests in the demo I tried were like vanilla WoW.

I respect the heck out of Triton’s development team. Maybe if they were working on SWTOR instead of BW, combining a solid IP with their work ethic, there’d have been something truly spectacular.
