In-game footage of a persistent, online world
Jones showed off some in-game footage from Destiny while explaining that it will look “amazing” on the PS4, and explains that it will exist as a persistent, online world.
According to Jones the PlayStation 4 is a perfect fit for the game.
PS3 and PS4 confirmed
Ryan confirms that not only will Destiny be on the PlayStation 4, but that we will also see it on the PS3. Both versions will be available at Destiny‘s launch. In addition, he announces that Bungie will be making exclusive content for Sony platforms.
Both the PlayStation camp and the Bungie crew are obviously very excited about this arrangement as can be seen in the following tweets.
“We can’t wait to see what PlayStation fans do when they set foot in our world.” @destinythegame is coming to PS4 and PS3!

In addition, an “official” announcement video featuring Jason Jones has been posted on the Destiny YouTube page.
Watching the video, I have to say that what little of the game we have seen does indeed look beautiful. Of course, like many of you, I am wary of cinematic looking video, but I’m am looking forward to seeing what Destiny will really look like on the PlayStation 4. If what we are seeing in this video is a true example of the game, I’d have to say I’m pretty okay with it.
