Gary Gannon spent some more time on the E3 floor today and got a peek at a gameplay demo of the the upcoming Rift Expansion — Storm Legion.

I was hoping that Trion would show off the expansion since they announced it about a week ago. But I have to admit, I’m just a little jealous that Gary got to see it and I didn’t. Well, maybe more than a little.

Luckily for all of us, Gary called into the GAMEBREAKER offices to share his experience.

  would be nice, but i think the problem is, no one at gamebreaker plays the game which I think is the reason why they cancelled the show in the first place.

The biggest problem for me was the small world so it’s cool they are expanding it that much. Still there are so many cool games on the horizon..

The city spans multiple zones? Which means the one key signifies the main area it is, then the 6 rusted keys might be the possible 6 zones it could span? Ehh, ehh?

After seeing their live stream on twitch.com/riftgame I’m completely sold! It was already a fun game, but now it looks like fun x100. I definitely know why Gary is hyped about this, and there has to be a Sanctum return. RIFT is the only MMO that truly deserves a subscription fee.

I think the expansion will bring Rift into the forfront where it belongs. I predict it will come out by there 2 year anniversary
