To say thank you for one million Facebook likes a new Elder Scrolls Online video and concept art are revealed.
For Valentines Day Zenimax Online Studios posted a video thanking fans for over one million likes on The Elder Scrolls Online Facebook page. Over one million likes shows just how excited fans are getting about the upcoming title.
The Elder Scrolls Online team rewarded fans with a hilarious “thank you” video, which gives an unofficial tour of the Zenimax studio and introduces the team. The video is lighthearted, a lot of fun, and if you look closely you might be able to see some items of interest on the employees’ monitors. Of course there is no way to know if these are actual game related screenshots, research, or early concepts, but it is interesting nonetheless to see what they’re up to. The one thing of particular note is the pink haired woman (with matching glasses and cardigan) editing a video featuring some art of Almalexia, one of the living Gods who resides in Mournhold, the capital city of Morrowind. Some other moments to look for include Nerf gun fights, that infamous horse head, a lore wizard, and general employee hi-jinks. The staff is clearly excited to have gained such a huge fan response on Facebook.
Also, to further thank fans, Zenimax released concept art for heavy armor sets for High Elves, Nords, and Bretons. So, if you plan on playing a heavy-armor wearing character once ESO drops, soak it in. Additionally, in that concept art we get our first glimpse of some one and two-handed swords and a shield that also end up in the game. For now these are the heavy armor sets for male characters only but hopefully we’ll see more armor concept art soon!
