The Secret World's First Raid To Be Unveiled At Gamescom

Gamescom is almost here and Funcom will be releasing details about the The Secret World‘s first raid.

If you remember, Ragnar teased the upcoming raid in his first State of the Game address by saying that “The Big Apple will never be the same.”

As it turns out, a hint about this particular raid may have existed for a pretty good while now — in the form of the trailer where the four NPC’s stop their fighting long enough to deal with a “big nasty” that’s busy tearing up the NYC subway.

Whether or not the trailer is actually related is still up for debate, but knowing Funcom, there’s a very good chance it is.

Yet again this news is pushed into the lesser mmo press page . Why hate on funcom theyve worked really hard after the AOC debacle and have proven with the Secret World that they can produce fantastic content at a reasonable pace. If i want MMORPG news i come to Gamebreaker.tv. If i want news on The Secret World i have to go surfing the internet instead of heading to the number 1 games news website ( this one btw ). Funcom arent the most talkative dev team out there but there IS news to talk about but im figuring someones egos didnt get massaged at GDC like it did in Arenanets camp. Funcom have produced a viable MMORPG and it would be nice to see it get some fair press. This isnt AOC all over again
