The Latest Patch for GAMEBREAKER Has Gone Live

GamebreakerTV patch 3.0 is now available on all realms!

Over the extended maintenance, the studio was rebuilt from the ground up. With over 4x the previous space, there were plenty of upgrades to be had. For more details on all the changes, be sure to view all the patch notes and pictures below!

  • Gary’s background has been upgraded to a massive display bank with four 42′ monitors.
  • MikeS has been upgraded to his own real desk (out of box-throwing range? Only time will tell…).
  • A new backroom “Capture Station” and “Gaming Area Set” has been built.

  • Plans for the return of a more “casual” and “comfortable” set are in the works.

    I have a suggestion for you Gamebreaker. When I click “comments” on the main site I am taken to the comments section under the video. BUT the videos starts playing. it annoying b/c I have to scroll up and pause it. Can’t you have the video turned off by default like on youtube etc.

    Question, all that tape or whatever is left on the walls of the old studio… are you guys going to pull all that off and repaint it so it looks nice for the next people?  Or do you just leave it like that?

    Over here in Australia, a lot of places make sure that you leave a room in the same state that you found/rented it in. I was just curious, as to me, it looks like a mess was left.

    It’s nice to see all that hard work pay off for you guys. The new set looks great, especially the new four screen monitor setup. On a different note how does Gary stay so white while living in California? He looked extra pale in this video. Not that its a bad thing but it seams like it would take some sort of conscious effort to maintain that fairness of skin lol.

    The plastic borders around the TVs are way too large for a video wall. You couldn’t get displays with a 1/2 inch or 1 inch boarder rather then the 2 or 3 inch ones you have?

    Otherwise looks good, hope you guys enjoy the new digs.PS: No more chips and dip for the dog put him on a high protein diet with plenty of exercise, for a second when he laid down I though he keeled over from a cardiac.

        I concur, some bezels can be removed. In many LCD monitors most of the working  components are encased in aluminum. A rule of thumb would be if you measure the plastic bezel and half the measurement that is where the aluminum casing wraps the actual LCD. So theoretically, you could get the spacing between the monitors reduced by half by removing the bezels. Make sure to have some black electrical tape to cover the silver of the aluminum, though ;)

       Gotta admit those bezels are huge and quite obvious (bearing in mind they are in central shot all the time).

      Trying to give a practical comment (rather than just negativity) – see if you can get a camera angle where Gary (or whoever) is sitting in front of the central vertical divide. It won’t make any difference to the 2 huge black horizontal lines but could help disguise/cover the vertical one (and maybe the large central area were all 4 screens meet).

      Other than that , either swapping the screens for ones with smaller bezels or removing the bezels entirely would be an “ideal” solution.
      (but I appreciate this might not be practical and/or you might not want to do that)

    Patch Notes for Gamebreaker 3.0:

    - Fixed an Error where Garry Gannon would not show up in videos, and in some situations, the model would be replaced with Mike S.

    - Added new abilities to the following professions:
                   TV Wall: Display has gone from 1 to 4
                   Desk: Uses has upped from 2 to 3
                   Power outlets: Received numerous upgrades
                   Cute Dog: Now Cuter

    - Removed a distracting view from the game, causing staff to lose productivity.

    Known Bugs:

    - Garry Gannon still wears V-Necks
