Can’t wait to get into the Guild Wars 2 beta this weekend? Yeah, neither can we.
To whet your appetite, PC Gamer’s posted a few videos from its stream from last Friday, where a couple of staffers ran through the new level 30 zone, Gendarren Fields, taking on pirates, zombies, centaurs, and even a mischievous vendor.
The videos really highlight the differences between solo play and playing with a group. While content is supposed to scale, some enemies simply aren’t meant to be defeated by single players, like the cunningly named pirate captain Slade Killcount and her minions.
The rest of the videos showcase your standard dynamic event fare, including a warrior who seems allergic to his healing skill. Unfortunately, nearly all the action is solo, which doesn’t give you a great idea of how GW2‘s dynamic events can be truly… well, dynamic.
