Arenanet Release Guild Wars 2 Pillars Of Gameplay Videos

This is coming out really late…..

    • Cody Moody

Not everyone stalks the dev team on twitter / sets the official site to their homepage. The vast majority of GBTV users probably haven’t seen it yet – because many don’t live and die by GW2 news.

      • http://www.kaiketsu.enjin.com/ Corey “Crimzen”

but most do my friend….but most do…..

        • Jay

           I laughed out loud. :)

          • http://www.kaiketsu.enjin.com/ Corey “Crimzen”

             lol

this isn’t really news anymore if you post this 3 days AFTER ANet did, as well as after EVERYONE else has. -.-’

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002038208867 Dan Winborne

I think this was a “why the hell not” post.

  • Jay

Nice to see Ree still lookin’ good… I like that ArenaNet is ramping up the output of videos as we near launch. I wonder when we’ll see an official GW2 commercial for T.V.

    • Cody Moody

I think the correct term is “Revving up the Hype Machine”

      • Jay

Well, ArenaNet is simply talking about some of the features in the game with these videos… So if people are getting hype, that just speaks to how good those features are. :)

  • Odeezee

a little late posting the hit as others have said, but there is something faaaaaar more pressing that needs to be addressed:

ARENANET, WHERE IS THE LAUNCH TRAILER????!!!!!! there are only ~ 3 weeks to go before the release of the game and all we have is the launch date 30 sec teaser. i really hope that you have one in the works that you will release next week! i hope that it is all in-game footage/concept art and NO CGI. i also hope that you are not going to wait until after the MoP launch trailer debut on August 16th at Gamescom as that is literally 12 days prior to release and that is cutting it waaaaay too close to release. give us something new and different to get our friends, the uninitiated or the fence sitters something to provoke/evoke/excite them to join us either on the 25th, 27th or the 28th of August. we know you can do it well, just give it to us already!!!!

    • http://twitter.com/WaInut WaInut

You do know launch trailers are generally, well, released close to the launch of the game? They’re called launch trailers, after all.

      • Odeezee

a month is cutting it very close. remember Rift’s and SWTOR’s etc. they had more time and more of an ad buzz to at least get the numbers in the door. tbh, GW2 does not have nearly as much “hype” as people seem to think it does. the people that know of it and have played it are just greatly enthused, not very many people know of it sadly and a video with enough air time before launch could do the trick. and i do not even mean a TV spot, just an online video would be more than enough, then we can use it to spread the word.

    • Old Ben

      > i hope that it is all in-game footage/concept art and NO CGI.

I vote on live action cosplay starring Eric (in wig) as Eir Stegalkin and Tirzah (on her knees) as Zojja.

Colin could just be in the background, swinging on a rope, wearing the pirate costume from the gem store.

      • Odeezee

        LARP! i say LARP!!!!

  • Old Ben

Much better than their usual “video blogs”, but is it still so hard to light them in an interesting way and give them some clothes that make them a look a bit less nerdy?

    • Andres Blanco

Why should the try to look different? I’ll get the GW2 shirts they used in the past (for publicity purposes) but that makes them even more “nerdy” I guess… anyways video games are made by brilliant, creative and passionate poeple (specially this one imo), not fashion designers.

      • Old Ben

        > Why should the try to look different?

For the same reason that when a company is trying to sell you shampoo they don’t just film their own factory workers staring into the camera, turned almost gray by fluorescent lighting.

Look at the Firefall developer diaries, for example. Interesting background, good lighting, hats, drinks, etc.. I’m sure they’re just as nerdy, but the video director managed to make them look cool.

        > video games are made by brilliant, creative and passionate
        > poeple (specially this one imo), not fashion designers.

This isn’t a video game. This is an ad.

        • ssjjr21

There’s nothing wrong with being yourself and dressing like your one of your fans.  Gives the viewer something to relate to when watching the devs.  Have you even seen their HQ?  It’s not all “fancy schmancy” like Blizzard, there are no offices whatsoever.  Everyone works together cohesively in a Lan party-like setup, above all else they already said many times over that community in their game is one of their primary focuses.

I’ll let this video do the rest of the talking for me:
          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPau4kG8dAQ

        • http://twitter.com/Mantose Leo P

too bad some of the people making firefall have child like mentalities. And not exactly truthful about their game.

I think in most cases the way you look represents alot but, in this case I think a-net looking natural and being themselves is a much better way to go.

How many times in the past have people been burned by devs misrepresenting their games or outright lying.

Arenanet being themselves and not all fancy portrays honesty. And gives people the feeling that the game was made by another gamer like themselves.

          • Old Ben

            > too bad some of the people making firefall have child
            > like mentalities. And not exactly truthful about their game.

And some people making shampoo make horrible shampoo, and it doesn’t _actually_ make your hair 63.8% glossier like they promise.

But that’s not really related to the quality of ads for that shampoo, or the competence of the crew making those ads (director, cinematographer, make-up artist, etc.).

            > Arenanet being themselves and not all fancy portrays honesty.

They’re not “being themselves”, they’re reading a script into a camera. And the script is actually quite well written. What’s bad is the video footage. Bland clothes, bland lighting, bad framing. Whoever edited the video tried to spice things up a bit with wipes, digital zooms, etc., and even tried to fake some interesting lighting (ex., Ree’s video at 00:58) but even the editor kind of gave up and kept them on-screen only for a couple of seconds at a time, because (s)he realized how weak the original footage was.

Look at the still for the 2nd video and tell me that’s a good shot of Ree…

          • mitchell aufiero

Would you rather have nice ads, or a fun gaming experience?

          • Old Ben

Do you think shampoo ads are made by the people who make the shampoo?

          • http://profile.yahoo.com/ITHF7XKYGVXFAPCDMDJTKHLBBU Lian Wan

How many times? Fortunately only once. *shakes fist at Brink*

        • Brimstar

          > For the same reason that when a company is trying to sell you shampoo they don’t just film their own factory workers staring into the camera, turned almost gray by fluorescent lighting.

If anything I think its a stand up portrayal of who they are, its obvious they’re gamers and without having to look to part, the game speaks for itself. Look at apple for god sake, they’re a business built upon those principles of being “themselves” and not supporting a false image that leaves you wondering who they really are AKA Steve Jobs attire. Even if I can begin to start sounding cliche, I would stick with the “Don’t judge a book by its cover” motto but judge it by its information and overall Charisma. Which, all of them “especially Colin Johanson” is bursting with.

In a world full of misrepresentations based on beauty and shallowness, I think we need a little more of what they’re doing.

          • Old Ben

            > I would stick with the “Don’t judge a book by its cover motto

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that you don’t work in advertising. ;-)

            > In a world full of misrepresentations based on beauty
            > and shallowness, I think we need a little more of what
            > they’re doing.

You do realize they’re not trying to sell themselves, right? They’re selling the game. To people who haven’t bought it yet, and who don’t already know the things they’re talking about.

Can you imagine how much Apple would sell if their ads starred iPhone factory workers “being themselves”…? :-P

I’m sure Arena Net’s designers are fine individuals, and I think the game is (or will be) great. But that doesn’t blind me to the fact that they were filmed in a very unprofessional way. If they were as bad at making games as the guy who filmed them is at making ads, GW2 wouldn’t go very far.

          • Brimstar

             > I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you don’t work in advertising.

I guess neither does apple, at press conferences, Steve Jobs literally is in some jeans and turtle neck selling the latest and greatest. Yet Apple does amazing commercials to counter that but this is in retrospect to Arenanets blog post in the same situational degree. This is a information blog post that stands out much more because people rather watch then read information.

I understand they’re not trying to “sell themselves” but then why should it matter what attire they’re in if they aren’t selling themselves but a game instead? Yeah, they were filmed unprofessionally, the videos look bad but at the end of the day I feel as though this isn’t any better then Steve Jobs explaining what the latest and greatest apple product is.

          • Old Ben

            > I guess neither does apple, at press
            > conferences, Steve Jobs literally is
            > in some jeans and turtle neck

This isn’t a press conference (or an interview in a trade show, etc.), this is an ad.

And if you think Steve Jobs didn’t care about his image, you must have been living on a different planet. If there’s one company where they spend more time designing the “cover” than the “book”, that’s Apple, and they get that from Dear Leader.

His “jeans and black turtleneck” look was actually created by a fashion designer (Issey Miyake), at his request. You might not like it, but it wasn’t an accident, it was part of the image he very deliberately wanted to project.

            > Yeah, they were filmed unprofessionally,
            > the videos look bad

Which was my point exactly. :-)

          • Shogunz

            > I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that you
            > don’t work in advertising or retail. ;-)

Judging by the volume and tone of your posts you seem to think you know everything about everything.  You’re a bit obnoxious, chum.

          • http://twitter.com/Agimat08 Solo Miranda

            He is Old….Ben

          • Old Ben

Yeah, imagine knowing that the advertising industry cares about image. Surely no one could claim to be aware of such an obscure piece of information…

          • Shogunz

Surely you can differentiate objectivity and subjectivity.  You also presuppose a great deal of things in your assertions.

Your obnoxious harassment of posters is entirely within reasonable bounds of discussion.

          • Old Ben

            > Surely you can [...]
            > You also presuppose [...]
            > Your obnoxious harassment [...]

You’re the one posting exclusively about other posters. My comments are about the videos.

Do you have anything to say about those?

          • Shogunz

Stating “my comments are about the videos” doesn’t obviate your behavior, which is itself a valid topic.

          • Old Ben

It certainly seems to be a topic that occupies a lot of your thoughts. I’d say I’m flattered but to be honest I couldn’t care less.

          • Shogunz

It only occupies them when I’m notified of a reply.  I wouldn’t expect you’d care much about how your actions affect others; it’s the internet right?  Those aren’t real people out there…

          • Old Ben

My “actions” ? You mean like posting about the topic of the article instead of interrupting a discussion between me and Brimstar with a bunch of personal insults?

          • Shogunz

Oh such a world we live in, where anyone taking offense to obnoxious behavior is in poor form, aye?

          • Jay

I agree… I like that they’re not too comfortable in front of the camera, because I wouldn’t imagine them to be, since that’s not their career. I much prefer them keeping it real, than trying to portray something they’re not, and it coming off as fake.

    • Iwerks

If you’re questioning the cinematography, yeah – the people seem to be the least exciting element of the films. They’re rarely animated, and in general seem stiff and nervous. They speak well, but seem uncomfortable in front of the camera. There’s a lot of value in the still-image washes and in-game footage cuts, helping to break up the monotony, but the people weren’t as excited as I felt they could be (without going overboard, of course – that wouldn’t be good either).

As for outfits, they’re dressed fine. Google, Apple, and almost every other up-and-coming tech company knows better than to trust fancy suits as a necessary, or even beneficial wardrobe choice for advertisement. Shop-floor grunges wouldn’t be good either, but polos, layered shirts, and nice sweaters are perfect for the job. it’s not just a “bland and nerdy” look, it’s tech-chic thanks to the industry giants setting the trend.

Great scripts, great imagery and game footage, good speakers and outfits, poor speaker direction and filming. These guys are really passionate about their work – it’s time they worked on communicating that part of the sentiment to the audience. Their manifesto felt a lot better on that front.

      • Old Ben

I didn’t say anything about “fancy suits”. They’re not presenting a quiz show. ;-)

With the bland lighting and “stare straight into the camera” approach, they need something to make them visually more interesting. And grayish polo shirts (or blouses-with-a-bit-of-t-shirt-showing-at-the-waist) are not it – the framing definitely doesn’t help there, either. If everything else was perfect, the polos might work. This way, it just adds to the overall blandness and feeling that they didn’t prepare the shoot properly.

As you say, the people just don’t look very exciting. With all the action in the game and the background, the “actors” need something that makes them look cool (in the “badass” sense, not the “very calm” sense).

The only “sharp dresser” of the bunch, IMO, is (fittingly) Jonathan Sharp. Shirts with rolled up sleeves always make people look like they’re doing something (politicians know this very well; you’ll always see them wearing shirts with rolled up sleeves when they want to convince people that they’re “men of action”).

The other guys need something to make them pop a bit more. The GW2 “gray dragon” t-shirt with a strong red (unbuttoned) shirt on top would have looked great on Colin or Isaiah, and I can just imagine Ree with a dark green leather jacket and a little bit of wind to make her hair move, like an earthly version of Eir…

  • Depravity

I’m digging these presentations, albeit thinking these dudes need to get a jog going and stop eating f. burritos and drinking Cool Aid.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/ITHF7XKYGVXFAPCDMDJTKHLBBU Lian Wan

      NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!.
      That would delay the release.

  • pathargan

combat of an fps, strategy of an rts, depth of an MMO … and swifter than an acronym…. ? =D

    • Old Ben

Considering how shallow and repetitive most MMOs have become, I’m not sure if “depth of an MMO” was a very good line. :-P

I guess they had to mention “MMO” at some point.

  • http://twitter.com/Clumzie77 Robert Esters

I just want to see some of these Dragon bosses I keep hearing about. The only boss like that I’ve seen was from gamescon months ago.

  • pathargan

i agree… i would be a bit turned off if they were all in suits.. i’d rather have MY game made by people i can relate to… not sure why someone would troll the apparel of devs… unless they looked like lady gaga… that i can’t relate to as a gamer… lol

    • Old Ben

      Who said anything about suits?

And don’t lie, we all know you play GW2 wearing a meat dress.

      • http://twitter.com/dularr Dularr

… returns to gaming egg and carried to man cave.

      • pathargan

Yeah I sport the meat dress. =P Haven’t got my charr suit in the mail yet … BUT i do play SWTOR in my space rug…. (a jedi robe in snuggie material) lol

  • Old Ben

(got posted in the wrong place)

  • Spammerbam

ArenaNet already has enough attention, they don’t need to re-hype the game. This is mainly for newcomers who have no clue what GW2 is about and has to offer..

Not really news worthy to be on GBtv, imo. It’s sort of outdated.

  • http://twitter.com/dularr Dularr

Any word if NCsoft is doing a national advertising campaign?  If I remember right, NCsoft is getting their money from the box sales.

  • M H

Not being the type of guy that worries about what people have on in a trailer..

I can say damn… I want more guild wars 2.  More!

  • Sharuko

When your game lacks content, substance and dept, all you can hold on to is hype.  And the hype drums are really beating up their volume trying to drown out the game breaking shortcomings of this game.  However, the truth will be hard to silence after launch.

These video bits sound exactly like the videos by EA and the SWTOR crew usually headed by Dallas Dickinson.  I am almost sure NCSoft and EA have the same PR team.  Phrases like “MMO with the most replayability” “play the way you want to play and how you want to play” “story story story”.  If I closed my eyes I couldn’t tell who said it SWTOR or GW2.

Conveniently, one video they missed out was on is end game content.  You can ignore this all you want right now.  But your leveling content can be amazing and you can have all these need side games but with no end game content the game will be niche and considered a failure by the masses.

Which is why even the most avid GW2 fans plan to get MoP or other MMOs like Tera because they know GW2 will not quench their MMO thirst.

    • http://www.kaiketsu.enjin.com/ Corey “Crimzen”

       Bookah please…

    • http://twitter.com/Mjoukai Michael Harrison

I did have a really long post about how I wasn’t going to buy MoP or Tera, or any other MMO because I know the GW2 will be my main MMO for years and that the game has more than enough depth and content to last for a very long time…

But then I noticed who was posting, and how they used publishers as a point when the video is made by the developers, then I was like… not worth the effort, good luck trolling the next MMO, you sure haven’t changed my opinion any.

    • RBHgamer

I want you to follow the watch as it swings back and forth… focus only on the watch… you are getting sleepy… now remember this… Guild Wars 2 has no endgame, therefore it sucks… keep repeating that in your head and when i snap my fingers you will awake hating Guild Wars 2…

    • Spammerbam

       Classic.

    • Jay

Lol good ol Sharuko… Did you miss the entire “end game” video ArenaNet put out about a week ago? Of course not, I can almost guarantee you trolled all over that one too.

“your leveling content can be amazing and you can have all these neat side games”…

Careful Sharuko, your true thoughts about GW2 are starting to show. ;)

      • Sharuko

I was referring to SWTOR, they had a great leveling experience, best I have ever played.  But the game was not considered a success because they didn’t have the content people wanted.  And didn’t have the MMO basics people wanted, and GW2 is following the same exact path.

        • Spammerbam

”But the game was not considered a success because they didn’t have the content people wanted.”

Sounds exactly like Tera to me… Wait no, I lied. Tera did have the contents people wanted, including all the basics MMO veterans want.. it just didn’t have enough of it, almost close to none. Looks like Tera followed the old traditional MMO ways — the wrong path.

        • Jay

Lol I’m not going for the low blow like this other guy… We all know your feelings are still hurt over Tera. ArenaNet has done nothing but pointed out features in the game and explained their design philosophy. SWTOR’s leveling bored myself and many others, with the long walks through the space station and over barren planets…

My personal opinion, and at least I state it as such. You really should learn to separate your own personal feelings from factual information. Otherwise it just comes off as ignorant, arrogant, and foolish.

    • TacoBaal

       >Which is why even the most avid GW2 fans plan to get MoP or other MMOs
like Tera because they know GW2 will not quench their MMO thirst.

Lol, someone buying TERA, good one.

    • Damir Miric

Yea game totaly sucks I wont play it you conviced me over the few months reading your posts.

    • Senatic

Man seeing you troll the comment section month to month is becoming highly amusing, you never even have any actual arguments, it’s just all generalized hyperbole.

You must really hate this game to have the energy to spend so much time writing in comment sections about it. Did ArenaNet kill your parents or something?

      • Spammerbam

         This man speaks the truth.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1260066056 Steven Diaz

Oh lawd, that was so funny.  Jeez man, you made my day.  My damn stomach hurts.  We’re all starting to feel that way.  He’s become a joke.

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/ITHF7XKYGVXFAPCDMDJTKHLBBU Lian Wan

Might not have anything to do with GW2. More comments = more pageview = more ad views = more money for GBtv. :)

    • Morturion

Because the end-content in WoW is like totally awesome, never repetetive, doesn’t re-cycle old content, is totally accessable by ppl who don’t have time to grind gear 7 days a week, and is so good that no WoW player ever has to complain about PvP or balance because all they do is raid … riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

You know that there might be people out there that actually hate to do the same stuff over and over and over and over again, before they can even glimpse your holy end-content ? Arena Net is trying to make the whole game enjoyable, instead of just those few area’s for the highest level players.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Willi-Enderle/1668850948 Willi Enderle

      Serious now.
You have a bigger obsession to GW2 than the most “fanboys” (damn, i hate that word) i have seen so far.

I saw players with T-Shirts, custom made rigs, cosplays and even tattoos. But probably not one of them is writing and talking so much about this game as you do. There is hardly any comment of you thats not going about or hinting to GW2
I am getting seriously worried over you.

    • Hattoff

      “Guild Wars 2 doesn’t have end game”… right…

So I finished the main story arch? Well I still have hundreds of hours of parallel story line to complete with the four other races.

So I completed a story line with every race? Well I better play them again with turns at every major decision to experience most, if not all, of the alternative story lines.

I am bored of story and want something new? I had better go back through all of the areas and complete all of the Renowned Hearts and dynamic quests that trigger both day and night with multiple variables factored into each event.

I completed every dynamic event that I could find? Better get working on those jump puzzles.

Jumped my way through every hidden area? Better get a team together and finish those dungeons, both story and explorable modes.

Decimated the dungeons? Better get my legendary gear by completing challenging and unique events.

Have all the neat looking gear I can ever want? Well now it is time for an expansion/dynamic event update, we still have all of that lore to fill in and all of those elder dragons to destroy, better do all of that over again.

Finished with every expansion they will ever come out with? Better start up on PvP.

      Completed PvP? I doubt it…

Tell me again there is not enough content in this game to appeal to the masses. Please.

      • Sharuko

What is the difference between that and SWTOR?  The funny thing was SWTOR had raids something GW2 doesn’t.

        • Hattoff

The funny thing is… raids are not what I was talking about.

The funny thing is… Guild wars 2 is not SWTOR.

Let the game release, play it, then bash it all you want.

If you do this… your title will go from:

“Sharuko, the internet troll who only talks about Guild Wars 2 and how much it totally sucks because SWTOR, WoW, and Tera already exist.”

          to

“Sharuko, the PERSON that played the full release of Guild Wars 2 and didn’t really care for it, and his/her opinion is valued because they have made an effort to try it.”

Disgruntled by lack of information. >>> Sharuko

Hattoff <<< Contented by information currently presented.

          • Spammerbam

“Let the game release, play it, then bash it all you want.”

You must be new here. Welcome to GBtv where we have our very own resident troll, Sharuko. He cancelled his GW2 pre-purchase after the 2nd BWE. Interesting fact, right? Now you start to wonder why he’s still here. His main game is Tera, btw. It’s hilarious.

          • Hattoff

Lol, thanks for the information. I will stop feeding the trolls.

Ok this is the thing I can never understand with the new generation of mmo’aners.  A company makes their game have all these fun, cool, and interesting features to play while you level up creating a fun experience for everyone.

But certain people completely disregard all that and do nothing but focus on end game content.  When in the mmo timeline did end game content become the only factor worth playing?

“Your game doesn’t have 20 raids and 30 dungeons at the level cap?! FAIL!!!!!” says Dingus.

“No, but our game has all these awesome dungeons, questlines, dynamic events, exploration points, pvp, etc.. etc..”  replies Game Dev.

“Who plays an mmo for the game?! It has to be end game content or gtfo noob dev!” barfs Dingus.

Hey guy, play the damn game!! Stop rushing through to end game as fast as humanly possible, this is not the reason why mmo’s exist!!!

These posts of yours have become repetitive and desperate. A psychological craving for attention, albeit negative, seems to be the most likely motivation here.  Luckily, your fellow posters always give you the fix for your addiction.

Just like your obsession to respond to me and craving attention from me.  Why attack others when you did the same exact thing?

“I don’t like the MMORPG genre but I really like GW2″. Yeah that really makes sense.

I’m sorry have you played any of the “endgame” content yet?  Whether MMO’s have endgame content or not, they all have personal lifespans to every player.

I’ve heard some of the devs mention on more than one occasion that if you’ve played through with one character and done everything, then you just create another with a different personal storyline, starting area, proffession etc etc.  Guild Wars 2 without question will be a huge game.

Can i ask?  what exactly are the “game breaking shortcomings” that you speak of?

That is an excellent example of a well-done video, where people are properly lit, properly framed, have contrasting clothes that make them pop out, behave in interesting ways (aware of the camera but not just staring into it), etc..

Everything that is missing from the videos at the top of this page.

The more I find out about this game, the more interested I become. I would certainly like to see what direction all of these features will take players.

Now if they only had a video of how well they optimized the game for parallel computing ;)

I can see this being a good back up MMO but doubt it will be my main. Groups only consist of 5 max for dungeons and 10 for world events. Its also seems like its a single player if you wanted it to be from a pve perspective at least. As far as PvP is concerned it might be a hit but i’m not a heavy Pvper. I’ll Probably play Rift 2.0 SL and jump on GW2 when i’m bored especially since its f2p. I’ll say it seems like a nice back up/2nd mmo for when your main one becomes boring.

Something former Guild Wars players have told me is after a period of time, getting players to run difficult PVE content becomes a problem. Players will sidekick down and run lower level content.

    • snikendelarveføtter

World events will require alot more than 10 people, at least in the later parts of the game. Gw2 has alot more to offer, pve wise, than any other mmo i have played, so if you enjoy great pve content, then i think youll find this game turning into your main game :)

I’ve got a pillar of gameplay to talk about… promise fulfillment.

Nobody is mentioning that we are less than a month away from release and Arena Net still hasn’t lived up to this promise from their support site:

“We know that some players do not have a valid email address for their linked Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 account name and want to change it. At this time, it is not possible to change your Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2 account name or email address. However, we plan to have this ability before Guild Wars 2 launches.”

If you open a ticket about this, all they say is “it will be done” but meanwhile… time is ticking away to a promise not fulfilled.  If you have 30/50 points on an account that doesn’t have a valid email linked to it anymore and since you need a valid email to register a new GW2 account… so far you are SOL.  Will this promise make launch?  If it doesn’t… GW people that have 30/50 but can’t link their accounts to GW2 may have their names taken from them.  And all of that hard work getting 30/50 before release… is that all for naught?

Yeah, I would really love to see this implemented, sure, they’ll have to pay people to change the associated email addresses etc, but why would that be a problem if they’re currently paying them to say “Oh yeah, we’re putting that in soon” thousands and thousands of times.
