Star Trek Online 3-Year Anniversary Celebration

It’s been three whole years since Star Trek Online MMORPG left Spacedock, and to celebrate Cryptic is throwing a party and giving away prizes to thank players who have supported the game and helped it to reach this milestone. So while you’re cruising around the galaxy bringing peace to the quadrant during the Star Trek Online anniversary, you could be doing it in style with (best Price is Right voice) a brand new ship!

Starfleet Command has been getting reports about a strange temporal anomaly in the Azure Nebula. Early intelligence has linked this anomaly with Tholian experiments that are using the nebula’s unique properties to gain access to the past. Such a conclusion has been supported by stray subspace signals being intercepted from the area with Starfleet transponder codes dating back to the mid-24th century.

Players that are level 6 Federation Lieutenant and higher can speak with Engineer Kani on Earth Spacedock for the latest information about this situation to begin the event mission. Players who complete the mission will receive a Support Cruiser Starship – Ambassador Class (Tier 3), as well as a Support Cruiser Retrofit Starship – Ambassador Class (Tier 5). The retrofit ship can only be obtained by completing this mission during the Star Trek Online anniversary event, and the box containing the ship can only be opened once the character reaches the rank of Rear Admiral. The ship stats were not revealed, but will be coming in a later blog post.

There’s no need to feel left out if you prefer the Klingon Empire. They too are investigating the Azure Nebula, and as a reward players will receive a Battlecruiser Starship – Kamarag Class (Tier 3) along with a Battlecruiser Retrofit Starship – Kamarag Class (Tier 5). The same restrictions as the Federation retrofit apply to the Klingon retrofit ship.

The master of ceremonies for the Star Trek Online 3-year anniversary will be none other than Q himself. He will be hosting parties on both Earth Spacedock and Qo’noS, and players can stop by daily to help him to coordinate the guest list and receive a prize.

The Star Trek Online 3-year anniversary event will take place beginning at 10am PST on January 31st and run through 10am PST on February 14th.

Only a retro fit, TPW is getting cheap, Was hoping for some of the bigger Rear admiral ships like the carriers or battle cruisers/ Once again STO fails to give that one thing all players hope for.. Thanks TPW. Am happy to see news about STO though, fun game anyways and the instances aren’t bad. But all I wanted was one of the big bad mother of all ships.

stuff that normally is free for players isn’t OP or something like that. Back in my days ( im old, with some sex appeal ) we only got cosmetic stuff for game anniversaries.

If they gave out the best stuff free and easy, everyone would have it and that in itself would mean that it wasn’t worth anything.

    Hello,

Based on the information you’ve provided your issue may be
the result of a currently unknown game play bug. While we understand
you would like us to be able to resolve your issue quickly, some issues
require further development from departments outside our control and
cannot be resolved by a GM.

With that said, we would like to
encourage you to submit a Bug Report, with your findings, directly to
our QA team. This may be done by selecting ‘Bug Report’ from the list of
available help options. Do note that Bug Reports are reviewed by
members of the QA team, however you will not be able to edit or view any
reported bugs. Additionally, Bug Reports do not receive personalized
    responses.

Please rest assured that our developers work to resolve all bugs as quickly as possible.

    In
the future, to help us provide the highest quality service to our
players, please use the “Report a Bug” button in the Help and Support
menu, rather than “Request GM Help”, when reporting possible bugs that
may not require immediate intervention by a GM.

    Regards,
    GM Sideiron
