The Elder Scrolls Online Teaser Trailer from E3

classes? YA, really not an Elder Scrolls game.

The showed gameplay footage on Spike TV and on the online stream (I posted a link on the forums) and the world looked amazing.  I expected SWTOR graphics but what I saw blew me away.  The game looks great so far.

DAoC 2.0 with great PvE content sounds great. 

I could say this is disappointing but let’s be honest, there’s no one left who cares enough about TESO to be disappointed by it anymore than they already are.

I saw the link Sharuko left on the forums and I have long since given up on trying to make sence out of Sharuko’s gibberish comments but what they showed was just an overview of different places, no gameplay and no PVE nor PVP whatsoever. Kind of like the Copernicus trailer and as bland and generic as Copernicus looked, it still looked WAY better than TESO.

Truth is TESO is a complete betrayal to The Elder Scrolls franchise just as the new X-COM FPS is a complete betrayal to the X-COM franchise (hell even Julian Gollop the creator of the original X-COM has said so). Though in a way it’s interesting to see because I seriously can’t remember an MMO that has been received worst than TESO in recent years and with good reason.

I wasnt very excited about TESO when it was announced, but the more i see of it the more i am excited to play it, I thought i was becoming bored of the “fanatasy” genre but actualy i think im just tired of cartoon graphics, teso looks much more gritty and visceral than Wow or Swtor and even Rift.

But yeah this trailer was boring and too short.

Probably not Mage, Ranger/Thief, Warrior Classes.

More likely “Unarmored, Light Armor, and Heavy Armor” Classes.

It has a trinity and defined classes. It is probably going to be a GW2+trinity clone with the Elder Scrolls IP slapped on it. Nothing like the real Elder Scrolls games.

Well i liked it. Not sounding like a true (impatient)gamer when i say; nice they have some mystic and dont reveal too much. Too bad the GB team had to slaughter it…

Does how they have handled the marketing and release of info of this game give anyone pause and dread that may be how they’ve handled the development of this game?   Meaning, it has sucked.  This could surprise us all and be an awesome game, but you wouldn’t know it based on anything we know so far.  I just have a bad feeling that one of my favorite gaming franchises of all time could end up being a huge stinking bomb as an MMO.  I really hope not.
