I have some good news for the people who are waiting patiently for Trion‘s MMORTS End of Nations. While the wait is not yet over, you are a step closer to being able to owning the game.
Trion has announced prepurchase and pricing along with beta signups for the game.
For those of you wishing to preorder, Trion has three “Membership” options available — Free, VIP and Founder. They’ve given us a nice shiney chart showing the difference but it shakes out to this:
Free is a F2P option where players can purchase boosts and store credits from the game store. VIP will cost players $15 a month and grand them a certain amount of boosts and store credit along with a 30% store discount.
The Founder option is the only one available for pre-order and is price at $30. Preorder comes with several perks including Beta access, early access head start, exclusive skins and status and a status start boost. The package also includes two free months of VIP access.
GameStop has also listed a $60 Collectors Edition of End of Nations on their site along with a September release date. However, no mention is made of the CE on Trion’s site. It should also be noted that GameStop’s release dates are generally placeholders in their system that will allow them to take orders and should never be taken seriously.
For those wanting to sign up for the beta, Trion currently has a countdown timer on the End of Nations site that indicates the first closed beta event will be on Friday July 20th. Get ready!
Thanks to Daniel Burton and Alex Helm for the heads up.
