If you’re one of the many players who has requested housing in RIFT, Trion has listened. Coming — along with features like three-faction PvP, new areas, and new souls — is the housing feature known as Dimensions.
RIFT’s Dimensions doesn’t simply boil down to giving players a house or apartment in the game. No, Trion took it several steps further and decided to give players their own realm. Players are given the ability to build their homes, landscape and even change the sky.
Recently, Trion officially released the above trailer showing off some of the features of Dimensions. All I can say is, “Gimme, gimme, gimme.” I’m already trying to figure out what things I’m going to put where. Of course, it’s a little difficult not knowing what kind of space I have to work with, but a little preemptive planning never hurt anyone.
In conjunction with the trailer, Trion has also announced that Storm Legion’s next beta event will kick off at 10am PDT on Friday, October 19th and continue until 8am PDT, Wednesday, October 24th.
Players will have the opportunity to play Storm Legion content up to level 56 and anyone who has pre-ordered Storm Legion is guaranteed access.
If you’re wondering about NDAs… There is one. But, it will lift at 9am PDT Monday, October 22nd.
