Playing LOTRO's New Skirmish This Weekend?

Hey, peeps! It’s Friday and there’s a three-day weekend coming up! You know what that means?

Time spent with family? Pfeh. Here’s how the roadtrip to visit my parents would look.

No, that’s just an extra day to play video games. So, what will I be playing? (Hint: Not this.)

I’ve started to get pretty regular with my weekend livestream, starting at 6 p.m. PDT — that’s 8 p.m. where I live, in Central time — but I’ve never streamed the MMO I’ve played the most. So I’ll jump into The Lord of the Rings Online and, with luck, actually find a group or some PvP action.

I’ve been neglecting LOTRO for a while now, even with Update 7 coming out a few weeks ago. I haven’t even gotten into the new skirmish, Storm on Methedras or finished the last book quest on my main. I’m a bad player.

Also, for those who have been following my Swedish campaign in Empire: Total War, it’s currently 1794 and I just went to war with Spain. Ay caramba! I’ll probably finish that up this weekend. Someday, I might even buy Shogun 2…

This weekend will most likely end up with me finishing Assassin’s Creed Revolations, and FINALLY finishing Batman Arkham City. I have been neglecting Batman. Maybe some DDO and some MMOFPS, who knows.

I’ll try to check out your LoTRO stream, that should be interesting. I’ve played that game since launch, though I haven’t played much this past year, and it definitely can be fun. Though you are right, its gotten fairly grindy these past few years, which is sad.

I’ll be spending most of my time playing the family game though, my sister and her family are in town so we’ll probably be going out and doing stuff if it’s nice.

We were supposed to be playing GW2 this weekend, but Anet is being stingy. Now im playing through my library of games, never spending more than 30 mins on each one because they seem stale in comparison. So far, I’ve gone through 12 of my games. Lets see if one of them can actually keep me entertained the entire weekend. =/

Mechwarrior Online closed beta just started and sent out invites for the weekend. I don’t know how many people signed up for that and how many invites went out, but some people may be involved in that this weekend….unfortunately since it’s a closed beta with an NDA, no real information may be divulged.

Interesting update title. I’ve been fumbling about myself trying to figure out what to play this weekend. Logged into SWTOR, Rift (f2p portion), just logged out of D3 & was actually looking at old friends list to see about a SoR for WoW…figured I’m a lost cause at this point & think I’ll go listen to some music.

APB:R ALL WEEKEND… they did a mass ban and two HUGE updates…. U guys should do a story on how people who got banned on APB:R through their punk-buster system also got banned on other games like BF3, even if they only hacked on APB:R…. funny stuffs.

Grinding a few more Hall of Monuments points in Guild Wars 1 then never going to play another mission again even though I’m not at 30 points lol

It was nostalgic playing GW1 again but it also reminded me why I quit years ago. The PvE can get annoying. Still with no sub, it wasn’t a hassle to jump in again.

I want to check out DayZ if I have time.
