World Of Tanks Adds Top-Tier Medium Tanks, Tank Destroyers

Wargaming.net hopes you’ll think so, because they’re introducing a new set of Tier 10 medium tanks in the upcoming 7.5 update for World of Tanks, along with some new top-tier tank destroyers and three new maps.

The Americans get the lion’s share of the new machinery, with two TDs and a medium tank, the M48 Patton III incoming. Each of the Russian, French, and German tech trees will get one each Tier 10 medium tank and tank destroyer.

Update 7.5 also offers a smattering of lower-tier tank options, as well as three new maps with a distinctly North American feel to them: Port, Highway, and Quiet Beach. Hey, I can see my house from here!

By the time you get to Tier 10, medium tanks are largely indistinguishable from the smaller heavies, so it might be tough to tell the difference on the battlefield.

Here, come up close to mine so you can get a better look… yeah, that’s right, line yourself right up with my gun barrel…

I just didnt like the last patch…..They changed up the battle tiers….and those T8s roflestomp my T5 heavy….sad panda….Sweet game though.

  not sure what the issue is … its always been like this… high tiers kill low tiers. Their match making system has never been kind to tier 5-7.

    Very true. I have played a lot more since I posted that. Just have to play alot smarter than just run out there and get blasted away like a newb. I was so used to playing artilery. I had a fellow Heavy Tank Player be like….”You know if you would sit back and be a little more patient you might not die so much…”
    
    And that kids is how I learned to hide in a bush, now who wants a cookie!

i think this game is quite under appreciated. ive been playing it for on and off about a year. quite fun and engaging and perhaps i should knock on wood but the community doesnt seem to be near as bad as some other games

I’ve returned to this game recently since they’ve added in different match modes and new maps. It’s an entertaining game with fun PvP.

These Tier 10 tanks are going to add some nasty destruction in the battles. Esp. the TDs.
