Mists of Pandaria Beta is ramping up for a new patch to hit soon, and it is going to be massive.
Along with the normal bug fixes and tweaks, we’re getting some long awaited new content! Addons, T14 complete with set bonuses, new glyphs, talent changes, new models and more. Let’s break out the patch notes and have a look.
Add-ons
The biggest and best part of this patch for a lot of players and add-on developers is the availability of add-ons this patch.
Theorycrafters will have a blast being able to get real-time data, and developers will be able to get to work making new and improved add-ons.
New Gear.
Over a thousand new items have been added into the client for the new raids, we can’t score them from encounters just yet but they can be checked out here.
Along with this, they’ve added in the T14 sets complete with adjusted set bonuses. Monks seem to be on the Protector Token with Hunters, Warriors, and Shaman. Great news for PvE players, who are chomping at the bit to get their hands on the set bonus and stat numbers.
They’ve also added in a few new vanity items: (Spoiler Warning!) A Theramore tabard that lets you drop a Theramore Banner, and two new shirts to wear under your armor.
Class Changes.
This patch also sees a lot of balancing and tweaks to classes.
Mistweaver monks got the nerf (boo!) they’ve been expecting with some of their healing spells being dialed back. Additionally, Warlocks and Balance Druids seem to be getting a big work over, which is amazing news. Hunters got their AoE buffs as well, but the biggest and best change for classes? The Ritual of Refreshment glyph for mages. Now you don’t have to wait for other players to click your drinks portal!
The full list of class changes can be found over here at MMO-Champion. It is extensive. Some players will be excited, while others might be a little cranky. Such is the life of a WoW player.
New vanity Items
Aside from the new tabard and shirts, we’ve got some neat little vanity items around.
Is one of your companion pets particularly aggressive? The Chain Pet Leash might be for you. You’ll want to break out your martial arts skills as well because there are a few new breakable items being added in, including Stack of Stone Blocks, Stack of Bamboo, and the Stack of Wooden Boards.
