Wrathion Looks Upon Rogues In Cataclysm

Cataclysm has treated  Rogues well, you could say their treatment has been Legen – wait for it – dary.

Today we had a video series posted to the World Of Warcraft community site giving a more personal side to the Rogue Legendary quest line.

It featured the cinematics and quest progression of the Fangs Of The Father — the Rogue Legendary weapon — quest line, but from the point of view of Wrathion.

Wrathion is the “son” of Deathwing and the only member of the Black Dragonflight alive and uncorrupted. He is the provider of the Legendaries, taking different regents and items from Deathwing’s agents of death for his chosen “Champion.”

An interesting take on a epic quest line, a way for the players who had no chance of experiencing it themselves to finally enjoy the story the quest gives us.

The final moments of the video hint at something that was not a part of the original quest cinematic.

“…there are rumors of a land beyond the mists of the sea. Perhaps I will see you there.”

Wrathion has shown signs of obvious “Black Dragonflight-ness”, his apparent need for destruction of the other Dragonflights may show him as a up and coming antagonist for content in the Mists Of Pandaria.

This is great by Blizzard. Everyone actually gets to experience atleast something about this legendary.

This patchs legendary(rogues) has gone totally under my radar. I really dont have any idea how rogues get the legendary and why they get it. Im not in a raiding guild right now, so maybe thats why. I have been in same position when other legendarys were main focus, and I understood back then why and how it was obtained.

…Caltu, Wrathion is not evil. Do you have any idea who you kill for him? You purge the strongest of the corrupted black dragonflight through your assassinations. Do you know why you have to sneak around and only kill your mark? He knows that the minions are being held in thrall and are innocent. Try doing some actual research before you open your mouth next time.

Wration is wicked, but not evil… he is specifically the only non- evil black dragon. Anti-hero for sure, but still a protagonist.
