GAMEBREAKER let you know yesterday, October 9th, that the race for world first had begun, with the heroic mode of Mogushan Vaults opening to players. So far, at the time of writing on October 10th, four guilds are sitting at 3/6 heroic in Mogushan Vaults, those guilds being Vodka, Blood Legion, Method and DREAM Paragon.
The race began predictably, with the US guilds taking an early lead on the first boss, Stone Guard. Vodka took the World First 25-man, followed closely by Blood Legion. The 10-man world first also went to a US guild, Fierce, with Crimson Blade hot at their heels. Crimson Blade took World First 10-man Feng the Accursed, beating Fierce into second place. The World First 25-man went to Blood Legion, with Vodka close behind.
Vodka came in first on Mogushan Vaults’ third boss, Gara’jal The Spirit Binder, followed closely by Blood Legion, and, remarkably with EU guild Method in third place. The ten man World First Gara’jal The Spirit Binder went to another EU guild, DREAM Paragon, famous for their multiple World Firsts and for their ban following the use of a Raid Finder exploit in the race for World First Madness of Deathwing. KIN Raiders, the eventual winners of the Madness World First race, haven’t really figured so far in the rankings.
Given the time delay, it’s impressive that these two EU guilds are already hot on the heels of the US racers.
