Attention theorycrafters, spreadsheet jockeys, and math heads! Blizzard has sent up the signal flare for players to jump in and contribute to the class balance discussion with the blues.
Zarhym posted an official notice over in the MoP Beta forums asking for players to help crunch the numbers in the ongoing quest to balance the classes. They’re looking for detailed information based on player experience, not the “omg my rogue is underpowered compared to locks, giff me buffz!” type of feedback, so keep that in mind when contributing.
The discussion is already in full swing, with the dev team feeling comfortable with the current state of the classes. But, they are not done designing and tweaking just yet, and they’re still looking for more info from the players. If you can give them the numbers to back up what you’re experiencing regarding class balance, they need you over there!
The big issues right now seem to be Brewmasters fitting in with other tank classes, which could result in some possibly awesome buffs and tweaks for Prot Warriors and Death Knights. DPS and Healers have not been forgotten, with tweaks and discussion for them in hefty amounts.
