One of the reasons the PC version of the Elder Scrolls games remains so popular is the amazing mods that people can create to go along with the game, thereby extending the life of an already long-lasting game for devoted players.
While one of the first mods to make it to any PC game is probably the nude mod, Elder Scrolls modders come up with all kinds of game enhancing content, from weapon sets to character creation overhauls. And Skyrim is no different.
Since its launch in February, players have created and shared 10,000 mods, and Bethesda celebrated by directing readers of the company’s blog to an interview with the creator of the ten-thousandth mod — joedamarsio — on the Skyrim Creation Kit Steam Group.
So far, I think my favorite of the mods I’ve seen is the Super Skyrim Bros mod seen above. Although I would think goombas would die much more quickly than they do here, and the player doesn’t seem very interested in collecting coins.
