Bioshock Infinite Trailer: False Shepherd

“Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt.”

If there’s anything I’ve learned from this Bioshock Infinite trailer, it’s that all it takes is a few bad decisions to find yourself shooting your way through a city in the sky while relying upon the girl you came to kidnap to get you out of a jam.

Booker DeWitt owes a debt — that happens when you gamble too much — and it appears it’s a big one. To top it off, it looks like he owes it to those “Pay what you owe, plus the vic or we’ll send our guys to break your kneecaps.” people. You know… A shylock.

Paying off the debt.

So, what do you do when you owe a debt this big? You do what you’re told, which in Booker’s case is to head to Columbia, the fabled city in the sky and find the “Lamb of Columbia”.

Who knew the “Lamb” might be so dangerous?

Guns, powers and grappling hooks.

Oh.. yes! There’s a ton of action in this Bioshock Infinite trailer as well. You’ll see Booker taking down people with guns, powers and using his zip-line hook in ways it definitely wasn’t intended to be used but is surprisingly excellent for.

You also get to see the amazing potential Elizabeth has. She’s an obviously tough girl who can hold her own. So while you might start out having to lead her around, it seems like she’s going to pick up and be useful to have around. And she’s not about to take crap from anyone.

I want it now.

Yes, I know, I keep saying that. But this is one of the few games that I’ve actually been waiting on. And! Now that it’s so close I’m getting a bit antsy about it. The game looks beautiful. The story sounds amazing and I am an admitted Bioshock fan.

Hopefully, I’ll be making a trip to Columbia very soon.

Absolutely love the City in the Sky trailer for this game. I can’t wait for it! I have it pre-ordered and everything. This is one of the few games I am willing to shell out the full amount for a single player game.

Right there with you Q. This is the only game on my ‘need it’ list this year. Already pre-ordered on Steam. Hopefully it’ll meet it’s quota and I’ll get a free copy of XCOM to boot! *crosses fingers*.

Haha! Fact. My words when talking about this game to friends has been “I NEED this in my life.”

I loved Bioshock and System Shock 2, so I’m fully expecting to love this game also. Very excited.

Never played Bioshock 1 or 2 until the last few months. Fell in love in Rapture…as a place…as a lover…as a place few games exist. Pre-purchased Infinite. Even purchased Nico Vega music because of this….(which y’all should do. Trust Crime.)

I’ve loved the Bioshock games and I’m looking forward to playing this one but, I really, really hope that someday we can get a new cyberpunk game in the series and have a return of Shodan.
