Early Website Launch Reveals Call Of Duty: Black Ops II

Well folks, it’s official: Call of Duty: Black Ops II is coming.

Activision accidentally jumped the gun on activating the UK Black Ops II site. While the webpage has since been taken down, the good people at Joystiq managed to grab a quick screenshot.

The reveal trailer, set to premiere tonight during the NBA playoffs on TNT, was unfortunately not available, but the site did share a few key tidbits regarding the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise.

Perhaps most notable is the game’s release date: November 13.

Also, Joystiq is reporting that only PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of Black Ops II were listed on the pre-order section of the site, likely indicating there will be no Wii (or Wii U) version at launch.

Now that you know Black Ops II is officially on its way, are you ready for another round of Call of Duty?

  guitar hero got pulled cuz they ran out of good songs after GH3 and decided they couldn’t keep milking it any longer, but they can always find new and interesting imaginary places to shoot up nazis or terrorists or zombies or w/e that games all about, so i wouldnt get my hopes up

So I guess they will be using the same old crappy graphics engine again. CoD is gaming company greed at its lowest.

I just wish they’d stop teryarch from making games, it looks like the same game engine from blackops, which was the same one from world at war. So all the hacks that worked on those games will work again. And I’m still confused as to how the zombie mode is fun for more then 5 minutes, let alone a third game. Well I didnt buy blackops and wont be buy this either.

Think they could release a different shooter title, or having some true eventful change in their game. I mean I know CounterStrike, Halo or any other major competitive shooter out there hasn’t really changed themselves up on people but they also go for half decades or more before a legit sequel and beyond are made unlike the every year model.

Its not like MW3 players are getting bored of MP suddenly although it’s been the same for years, asking for another title to give them more of the same (that is more like a DLC anyways). Again leave it to whoever and Activision to see the gaming industry as nothing more than a cash cow, still way, way worse than EA.
